Driver named in crash into group of 100 cyclists near L.A.-Culver City border; 7 injured, 4 seriously [Daily News LA]

LOS ANGELES -- A young woman alleged to have been drunk plowed her car into a group of about 100 cyclists before dawn today, leaving two of them critically injured, four in serious condition and three with lesser injuries, authorities said.The crash in the 5900 block of West Jefferson Place near the Los Angeles- Culver City line was reported at 1:49 a.m., said Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Erik Scott. The injured were taken to various area hospitals.
Christine Elizabeth Dahab, 27, was booked on suspicion of driving under the influence, said Officer Lyle Knight, a Los Angeles Police Department spokesman. According to Los Angeles County Jail records, Dahab was being held at the LAPD's 77th Street Division jail in lieu of $15,000 bail.
