Mt. Tuffy to the rescue!

Tired of flat tires? Mr. Tuffy offers products to protect tubes from puncture by adding a layer in between the tire and the tube. These tire liners work. How do I know? Because I have them installed on my bikes.

...So the joy of cycling and metal work came together one day, and the first pedestal table was born. With old bikes hanging around the garage, material for those first creations were readily available.

Great Allegheny Passage website updated!

Welcome to one of America's best bike trails, where you will discover a nearly level trail along winding rivers, shaded valleys, and traditional small towns.

The Great Allegheny Passage (GAP) rail-trail offers 135 miles of hiking and biking between Cumberland, MD, and Duquesne, PA, near Pittsburgh. In Cumberland, the GAP joins the C&O Canal Towpath, creating a continuous trail experience, 320 miles long, to Washington, DC.

The final few miles from Duquesne to Pittsburgh are still under construction. Check Trail Status for updates.

eebrake: Lightweight, Powerful & Precise Control

The New eebrake

The new eebrake builds on all the great features and performance of the original while making improvements

in many areas. Every part has been evaluated for improvement potential. In the eecycleworks tradition, we

have done everything possible to make the best brake even better.

The overall geometry has been changed to accommodate the wider rims that are popular today.

The new eebrake will work with rims from 18 mm to 26 mm in width.

The leverage has been fine tuned adding slightly to the brake’s power and providing that power more

consistently through the brake’s operating range. The leverage of the new eebrake is optimized to work

all the current levers including Shimano 7900. This refinement makes installation slightly easier as well

The arm, bridge and axle components have been refined to provide greater strength and stiffness without

adding weight. Increased stiffness improves braking power and modulation. Increased stiffness improves

braking power and modulation.

The cable adjust assembly has been redone to provide more graceful cable alignment and simplify the parts

while making them more beautiful and lighter. The new design is easier to operate with your fingers due to the

enlarged adjustment nut. This new design allows the cable housing to extend to lower tip of the cable

adjustment screw eliminating the added friction and complexity of the traditional design!

The eebrake set new standards by which all other high performance road brakes are judged. The new
eebrake just raised the bar again!

Focus Bikes Mares CX 1

This is the cyclocross model the pros choose: America's Rapha FOCUS team will be a serious contender on the Mares CX1 in 2011. The frame features technologies such as Stable Stiffness per Size, whereby the tube diameter increases in line with frame size. In addition, we use only high-class components from our suppliers, e.g. SRAM, 3T and Prologo. The carbon wheelset developed in-house by FOCUS adds the finishing touch to this carbon cyclocross bike and reduces the weight to 7.8 kg.

Lizard Skins DSP 2.5 BAR TAPE ORANGE

Experience the best in bar tape, DSP has excellent durability, increased shock absorption, and great feel in any condition. 2.5 mm thick for that extra bit of comfort. At 82” there is ample length for any bar and only 50 grams per set, including the plugs, makes it the lightest tape on the market.

Installation tip: Avoid stretching tape. When wrapping use light pressure to get a snug wrap while maintaining even spacing, especially around brake house, to prevent premature wear.

Includes:
- 2 rolls of bar tape
- 2 bar-end plugs
- 2 finishing strips
