Camp Chase Trail - Update with Photos

I snapped a few photos on Saturday while exploring the new trail construction of the Camp Chase trail on the west side of Columbus between Big Darby Creek metro park and the little town of Galloway, OH...


The photo above shows the rough grading of the trail to the right of the railroad tracks. This view is looking East toward Galloway from Kropp Rd.


The photo above shows two piles of gravel ready to be used for the trail crossing at Kropp Rd. This photo is looking south on Kropp Rd., just south of Alkire Rd.

    We rode that trail on Saturday evening, then again Sunday morning....to & from a wedding reception in London.
    Great trail. But if you're riding to the trail from Cbus, you have to bike over really scary, gaping railroad tracks on Alkire rd.

    This 'Phase 2' 2.4 mile Camp Chase rail trail extension project-between Kropp Rd & Galloway Rd is being financed ($2.3 million) & built by Metro Parks (not city of Columbus).
