Cold hands, warm hearts for Festivus [Dispatch]

They wore reindeer shirts and snowman suits and rode bikes decked with wrapping paper and colorful lights.
But don’t be misled: The riders pedaling through Downtown yesterday weren’t starting Christmas early — they were celebrating Festivus.
About 70 people braved a chilly afternoon yesterday for what organizers jokingly called the “ 32nd Annual Columbus Festivus Ride.”
“It’s really the first time we’ve done it,” said Andrew Sidesinger, 30, a Columbus software developer and one of the event’s organizers. “We did, like, zero marketing. So it’s quite a feat that we got this many people out here in the freezing cold.”
