Let's ride!   TUE, MAY 15  Ride the Elevator 2012  Join us for the 2nd annual Elevator Brewery-sponsored ride to benefit YB! and Franklinton Cycle Works!      THU, MAY 17  Green Drinks Bike Hop We're teaming up with Green Columbus for this ride, which will start at at Hal & Al's, then hop to Shadowbox Live's Backstage Bistro and finally to St. James Tavern, where there will be delicious eats by Tatoheads. SAT, MAY 19  Month 5: A Year of Yay The theme for May's ride is Bike Month, so we'll be headed to some surprise bike-type locations around town! Get your exclusive May button!   SUN, MAY 20  Blessing of the Bicycles This is Summit UMC's 3rd annual event to honor bicyclists. Ride your bike to church for a message about the opportunities our time of transportation provides us -- as well as, of course, a blessing! PBR bike raffle @ Paradise Garage Win this wacky-fun PBR bike with unlimited $1 raffle entries at Paradise Garage! All proceeds benefit Yay Bikes!. The drawing will be held at the Megacity Music Marathon.  New opportunities for gettin' learned Traffic Skills 101 Traffic Skills 101 is an 8-hour course that features classroom sessions, maneuverability drills and on-road riding. This course is now approved for the City of Columbus Traffic Diversion Program. It will be offered June 13-14, July 11-12 and Aug 8-9 (6-8pm); and Sept 15 & Oct 13 (1-4pm), with an online portion to be completed at home. A discount is available for YB! members. Contact Tricia for more information. Motorist Education  Motorist Education is 3-hour classroom session that teaches motorists how to share the road with cyclists. This course is now approved for the City of Columbus Traffic Diversion Program. It will be offered 6-9pm on June 18, July 9, Aug 6, Sept 10, Oct 8, Nov 12 and Dec 10. A discount is available for YB! members.Contact Tricia  for more information.    design:Rolls The Center for Architecture & Design is offering an Architectural Bike Tour of Columbus that we're helping support on June 3. Register now, before it's sold out!
