LANCASTER — Tour de Cause Chairman Ron Burris is hoping to see the biggest turnout yet Saturday when cyclists from Fairfield County and beyond come together to help raise money for the Recovery Center in Lancaster.
Burris said he’s aiming for about 1,000 riders in this year’s bike ride, an increase from 750 last year. Riders can preregister all this week or register Saturday for one of six courses, including a new 125-mile course dubbed the “Tour de Pain.”
Burris also would like to see an increase in the number of dollars raised at this year’s event — his goal is $75,000, a $10,000 increase from last year.
