UPDATE :: Camp Chase Trail - Lily Chapel to Wilson Road

If you've taken the rail-trail from Wilson Road to...say...London, South Charleston, Cedarville, Xenia, Yellow Springs, over to Dayton or even all the way down to the outskirts of Cincinnati - you'll be interested to know that the section of the Camp Chase trail between Lily Chapel and Wilson Road has been installed and will soon be complete.

What this means is the trail from Battelle Darby Creek metro park which leads to Cincinnati is almost done. There is—what looks like—a solid base layer (coarse stone and pavement) with maybe a top coat needed to smooth out some of the rough spots, some paint for the center lines, and edge work to clean it all up.

This is the view looking toward Lily Chapel from Wilson road (opposite side of the road from the Wilson Road parking lot).

Here is a possible wind screen/bench or some other type of rest stop structure going in at about the very midpoint between Lily Chapel and Wilson Road.

This is the view looking towards Big Darby Creek metro park at Lily Chapel just past the grain silos.

AND...the work on the bike trail along the bridge over the Big and Little Darby Creeks continues...
