Yay Bikes! "How We Roll" Program in Dispatch Short Takes

• ADD ONE more good program to the list of ways central Ohio is becoming more bike-savvy and bike-friendly: Ohio State University’s “How We Roll” program, which offered free instruction and bike tours to students interested in learning how to ride smarter and safer, as well as learn their way around Columbus.
Bicycles are becoming more prominent in Columbus, and college students are a big part of the picture, so any education that can help bikers better co-exist with pedestrians and cars is helpful.
How We Roll was offered during fall quarter by the campus bike-advocacy group Bike OSU, with grants from the group Yay Bikes, as well as the state departments of Transportation and Public Safety.
