A naked triathlon will be the highlight of the seventhBrighton Naked Bike Ride (Sunday 10 June).
Participants are being encouraged to take part in a naked fun run which will kick-off proceedings and then join in the post-ride skinny dip at Brighton’s Black Rock naturist beach, either side of the “bare as you dare” ride through the city.
Up to 1,000 are again expected to take part in the ride, which is one of 50 around the world in aid of the annual World Naked Bike Ride eco protest. It aims to challenge society’s dependence on cars and oil and promote cycling as a sustainable form of transport.
Riders will assemble at Preston Park at 12 noon and follow a scenic route through the heart of the city. It will pass along the seafront into Hove, going by the pavilion and the pier before finishing in Kemptown at Black Rock.
